Forums

Forums

Every Child CQ believes that by bringing people, communities and organisations together, we can positively improve life outcomes for our kids. A series of Community Forums were held across Central Queensland to discuss our aspirations, validate data analysis, listen to community and stakeholders views and encourage participation.

In 2016 members of the Community Leadership Board travelled throughout Central Queensland with a view to engaging communities in discussion to gain an insight into the needs and views of each community. Participants discussed what already works well, where improvements are needed and considered what top priorities for children in their community.

We acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people as the Traditional Owners and Custodians of this country and recognise their connection to land, wind, water and community. We pay our respect to them, their cultures, and to the Elders both past and present.
